Solid state or gas tube protection available The Outdoor version of the Next Generation Building Entrance Terminal is a network distribution point that protects and distributes central office twisted pairs at the subscribers’ premises. The terminal cover is opened using a standard 216 tool and is padlockable for additional security. The input of these enclosures offers a wide variety of splicing options (including stubbed versions) to connect to the network. This BET contains an industry standard 5-pin protection system compatible with either gas tube or solid state protectors (protectors available upon request). Available in 50 and 100 pair maximum capacity units, these beige powder coated aluminum enclosures are designed to meet Telcordia testing and provide a durable, reliable, compact housing. These enclosures are environmentally sealed to provide the network with excellent protection. Stacking kits are available to increase network capacity.
