The ALIS tool is a mechanically assisted, hand operated tool that is designed to longitudinally slit long lenghts of innerduct or cable duct. The ALIS tool has the unique ability to both enter and exit the innerduct in a mid-span application, either with, or without live fiber already in place. With the use of a standard 3/8'' ratchet drive, the ALIS tool moves in large increments, thus greatly reducing the time and effort requred in slitting innerduct.
