DCD DESIGN/CABLE SPINNING EQUIPMENT 40000-500 Universal Adapter NEW
The Universal Extension frame is designed to get to those really hard to reach corners and still be able to locate the duct guide squarely into the ducting. It mounts directly onto the end of the standard TUF-Lugger™ with all the existing hardware that comes with the TUF-Lugger™. The unit has the ability to be rotated 90 degrees in either direction thus giving total flexibility inside a manhole to reach any location. The Universal Extension is provided with short aluminum tubes, but it is likely that they will not be suitable for all applications. It is up to the contractor to obtain 2" pipes of a length to suit any particular application. The outboard end of the extension is identical to that of the TUF-Lugger™ thus allowing the normal use of the duct guides. It is possible to assemble more than one of these extensions such that when coupled together, they provide the ability to fully turn a corner. Care must be taken when assembling this extension because until load is put onto the TUF-Lugger™, the entire unit will be very unstable – once load is applied, all the arms will tighten up under the tension and it will again become stable.
