The sonde is a small self-contained transmitter that connects to the end of the duct rod. The sonde will help trace the duct route and can also locate duct blockages or collapses.
The sonde's 33kHz signal is picked up by the receiver. The sonde is only 0.7 inches in diameter, so it will fit into most inner ducts.
The sonde, depending on conditions, can be located up to 13 feet below grade
- Rugged construction - Small size - Battery powered - Used with Sonde Adapter P/N 89394 - Uses 1 DL 1/3N battery that gives 8 hrs. of continuous use. - Note: transmitter is active when battery is installed.
