Designed for finding and identifying up to 8 COAX and network cables in main cable boxes, this cable mapper and toner is the perfect tool for use on cables for CATV, network installations, satellite installations, telephone systems, audio-video equipment, CCTV, and security & alarm installations. This 8-way cable mapper and toner kit features the following:
Maps up to 8 COAX or Network Cables simultaneously, up to 1,000 ft Tone Generator makes it quick and easy to locate cables in wiring closets or patch panels Tests Network and Telephone Cables using RJ11 or RJ45 connectors for shorts and wire mispairs Backlit LCD clearly maps out connections and describes wiring faults when testing Rugged rubber housing protects it from accidental drops and damage Live voltage detection warns you if the cable is live Powered by (2) AA Batteries (included) and automatically powers off after 30 minutes to conserve battery life
