The Optix 3X MPO field installable splice-on connector with patent-pending design offers up to three opportunities to be spliced to avoid costly scrapped connectors on "failed splice" connections. The"One&Done" problem associated with current MPO connectors is solved with these connectors.
Features - Up to three opportunities to re-splice or reuse the connector - Splices easily on any brand fusion splicer - Only three parts - silicon boot (126mm), steel-plated splice sleeve (30mm), fiber stub (122mm) - Flexible silicon boot routes easily and neatly even in tight wall enclosures - Increased boot length provides better strain relief and protection - Excellent strain relief and protection - Double steel-plated splice sleeve for maximum splice area protection - No special holders needed
