A complete pressure tight closure system for protecting spliced communication cables in a wide range of applications. Features • Constructed from impact and corrosion resistant plastic • Grounding harness is pre-attached to the closure half • Provides ultra-violet protection • Available with internal or external sheath retention • All assembly bonding and mounting hardware is included in kit • Lightweight, Pressure tight • Reenterable and reusable, Piece parts available • No special tools required for assembly or re-entry Applications • Aerial, Building, Underground Sizes • Seven sizes will accommodate cable diameters for 0.4" (10 mm) to 2.8" (71 mm) and splices up to 1500 pairs • May be used for sheath openings of 13" (330 mm) or less to a maximum of 19" (483 mm) • Available in straight or branch splice configuration
