Preformed Line Products RD Encapsulant is a two-component polyurethane compound providing excellent moisture and electrical insulation protection for telecommunications cable splices. RD Encapsulant offers numerous features and benefits, including: • Easy to mix and pour • Fast setting • Room temperature curing • Excellent splice penetration • Easy to re-enter • Bonds to itself when closures are refilled • High impact strength, low water absorption • Superior hydrolytic stability • Low weight loss, nonexpanding • High volume resistivity • Minimal exotherm • Contains no TDI or MOCA
