ESCRIPTION An essential cable preparation tool for preparinghardline cables after coring, the Gator tool bevels thecenter conductor to prevent the connector’s seizingmechanism from being damaged and scrapes awaybonded dielectric to fully clean the center conductor. Using the Gator bevellerto remove the burrs is farbetter than making pyramidcuts. Made of carbide andlocated on the side of the Gator body, the beveller isalways sharp and convenient. Beveling prior to scrapingalso prolongs the life of the Gator teeth.Long-lastingReversibleTeeth:The Gator teeth remove alltraces of the bonded dieletricwithout scoring the centerconductor. Reversing theteeth exposes a second set ofcleaning edges, whichdoubles the life of thescrapers.
