Accessory of the C9970 Voltage Detector The Voltage Detector test plug is used to verify the lowest voltage (threshold voltage) at which the Voltage Detector indicates danger. It is an AC-operated plug which provides a suitable, current-limited, reference voltage to verify proper operation of the Voltage Detector. It plugs into a standard, ground-referenced, power outlet. The test plug is current limited and may be touched without electrical shock, even while energized. The test plug consumes less than 30 milliwatts and may be left in an outlet indefinitely if desired.
