Made of lightweight gray PVC, they can be easily handled and cut on the job site by using a hacksaw or knife. Sprint Products Group offers a complete line of risers and guards manufactured from UV stabilized thinwall PVC to meet the need for a larger capacity riser and guard. Larger pair count buried drops, coaxial, fiber and hybrid service drops are easily installed and effectively protected from physical damage. Offsets and notches provide a neat service wire point of exit that matches up to most protector/NIDs. Buried elbows and bends provide protection from cut wires during digging in the vicinity of the buried service drops.
The Service/Ground Wire Guards are specifically designed for use on telephone and power poles. They are extruded in 5' and 8' lengths to protect the service wire way beyond the reach of vandals.
