RENT 3M DYNATEL 573A W/A FRAME SHEATH/FLT LOC RENTAL PER MONTH ter cable path, depth and sheath fault locator with aframe and extended range.
Also follows working power cable path.
The Dynatel 573A precisely locates sheath faults, buried cable paths and measures cable depth, directly or by the traditional triangulation method, to allow for accurate, efficient excavating. The 573A is easy to operate, and requires very little training. The unit consists of three basic components: transmitter with built-in volt/ohmmeter/output level meter , hand-held receiver with color-coded fault-location reference meter and audible cable-location signal and meter indication , earth contact frame-color-coded to correspond with recond with the meter, indicating the direction to the fault, used only when locating sheath faults The 573A Receiver operates in three different tones-RF, audio, and power cable mode.
RF mode-for precise sheath fault and cable locating over short distances; detects inaudible high-frequency RF tone at 300 kHz; tone is applied by induction using an internal antenna, Dyna-Coupler, or by direct metallic connection. Audio mode-for extended distance locating; detects a low-frequency 577.5 Hz tone applied by direct metallic connection.
Power cable mode-detects 60 Hz AC on power cables; can be used to locate and trace the path of a working power cable.
